The Muslim Women’s Institute for Research and Development (MWIRD) would like to announce the launch of a couple new health services:
Free Blood pressure testing, Monday through Friday; from 9:00AM -5:00PM. Seventy three individuals have been tested since February 2007, when the program began.
Free Nicotine Packets (to those who qualify). Participants will receive a 6 weeks supply of patches, free CD Rom instruction guide and health bulletins. Ninety nine individuals have received the nicotine packets since June 2006, when the program began
Women’s Health Workshops, focusing on preventative health care.
